Welcome. . . to the website of new, page turning, can't-put-down, novels.

THIS MONTH’S FEATURED AUTHOR IS...

 HANK MANLEY

"Wow, what an intriguing story! I confess this is the first time I’ve ever finished reading and editing a manuscript with tears in my eyes. Your novel has the perfect ingredients for a best seller (and that’s the first time I’ve ever written those words). I could hardly pull myself away from the computer. I believe your book could be made into an exciting movie (and I would love to write the script). The plot was great, building suspense with each chapter and portraying a vast knowledge of so many things?hunting, fishing, sailing, artillery, fighting, creative management to mention a few."

-  Wanda Griffith, six-time published author

The Iron River

The Iron River is a phrase U.S. President Lawrence H. Kyte, Jr. uses to describe the massive flow of semi-automatic weapons pouring across the Rio Grande River into Mexico from the  United States.  Mexican drug cartels demand the firepower to keep the Mexican authorities at bay as they smuggle cocaine back across the river into the U.S.

Beleaguered Drug Enforcement Administration agents are commanded by President Kyte to bust the largest Mexican drug cartel and halt the exportation of weapons. Their efforts continue to fail. Driven by lofty political ambitions, the head of the DEA and his Operations Chief hatch a desperate plan to infiltrate both the drug cartel and the gang supplying the arms.

Morgan Early and his wife Rhonda have had previous experience with the DEA, all of them ending unhappily for the Drug Administration. An initial attempt to re-enlist their services in the current quest fails. They agree to help the DEA only after the tragic murder of friend Daisy Bain’s fiancé.

Daisy flies to Cancun and manages to place herself close to drug czar Rafael Zapata. Morgan injects himself into the weapons gang in Texas. A massive exchange of rifles for cocaine is arranged. The head of the DEA dashes to the remote location in the Yucatan to reap the glory of the arranged bust with the Mexican authorities.
